Tanna Burge is entering her second season as assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Baylor Speed, Strength and Explosive training department.

Tanna assists John Williams, Director of Strength and Conditioning, with football and is responsible for the design and implementation of the soccer, softball, men's golf and women's golf, and equestrian programs. She also contributes with the remaining athletic teams.

Tanna comes to Baylor from Clemson University where she served as the Olympic Sports Strength Coach. Tanna began at Clemson as a graduate assistant in August 2002 and was promoted to full-time status in June 2004. Tanna was also the Director of Performance Nutrition for the Tiger student-athletes.

Prior to working at Clemson, Tanna completed a year-long internship at The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where she assisted with strength and conditioning programs for all Olympic sports teams.

Tanna is a Baylor Alumnae where she worked as an undergraduate assistant in the weight room for three years and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health/Fitness Studies in 2001. She began her Master of Education work at Clemson in Food, Nutrition and Culinary Sciences. Burge is certified USWF-Level 1.
