Played two games for the Colleyville LoneStars of the Texas Collegiate League before sustaining an elbow injury.

Played 21 games with three starts, all as designated hitter ... Appeared in six Big 12 games with no starts ... Was 2-for-11 (.182) as a pinch hitter ... All three hits on season came in non-conference games ... First career start was against top-ranked Rice at Astros College Classic (2/10) ... Started against Texas State in Bears' home opener (2/13) ... Became first Baylor designated hitter to bat leadoff since April 6, 2002 in that game ... Walked twice in three plate appearances ...
