Tickets for Baylor's men's basketball game against consensus preseason Top 25 team Arkansas at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, go on sale to the public through Ticketmaster, Thursday, Nov. 1. Tip-off between the Bears and Razorbacks is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on the homecourt of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks.

Tickets are priced at $15, $20, $30 and $50 for the game between the former Southwest Conference rivals who haven't met on the hardwood since the 1990-91 season. Fans may purchase tickets for this game by contacting Ticketmaster at 254.752.8822 in Waco or 214.373.8000 in Dallas.

Baylor Bear Foundation members, men's basketball season ticket holders and students may contact the Baylor Athletic Ticket Office directly at 254.710.1000 to order tickets. As is the case for home games at the Ferrell Center, Baylor students will be admitted free to the Arkansas game, however, all student tickets must be ordered in advance.

The Bears return all five starters from last year's team which posted the school's highest win total (15) in six seasons and received votes in the 2007-08 preseason USA Today/ESPN coaches poll, while Arkansas is ranked 19th in the preseason USA Today/ESPN coaches poll after advancing to the NCAA Tournament a year ago.

Baylor will play its first exhibition contest of the 2007-08 season on Friday, Nov. 2, against Tarleton State and opens the regular season at home on Saturday, Nov. 11 against Jackson State. Both games tip-off at 7 p.m. in the Ferrell Center.
