WACO, Texas - Baylor's men's tennis team is ranked No. 11 and four singles players and three doubles teams are ranked among the top 125 nationally in the March 4 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) poll. The Bears dropped two spots after losing to No. 1 Virginia and defeating #21 Virginia Commonwealth University last weekend.

Denes Lukacs and Lars Poerschke each moved up in the singles rankings while Dominik Mueller made the list for the first time this spring and David Galic dropped from No. 57 to No. 102. Lukacs, a sophomore and the Bears' highest ranked player, owns a team-best season record of 29-8 moved up to No.10 from No. 12. Poerschke, a two-time All-American, made his first poll appearance of the season in the Feb. 19 rankings at No. 17 and moved up to No. 15 this week. Mueller, a sophomore, owns a 21-6 season record and is 12-1 in dual match play, entered the rankings for the first time this spring checking at No. 75.

For the first time this season, the Bears have doubles tandems ranked. Mueller and sophomore Attila Bucko are No. 49, Bucko and Poerschke check in at No. 50 and Galic and Lukacs are No. 54.
