Volleyball Hosts Spring Tournament Finale

WACO, Texas - The Baylor volleyball team will host its final spring season tournament on Saturday at the McLane Student Life Center from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Bears will face off against UTSA, Texas A&M-Commerce and Temple Junior College. In its first tournament of the spring, Baylor went undefeated against four teams at the SLC on March 29. At the Texas Tornadoes Club Volleyball Tournament on April 12, Baylor compiled a 3-1 record, with its only loss coming to New Mexico State, ranked No. 21 in the final AVCA poll last season. In that match, the Bears fell in the third game by a 15-13 score. "We are excited to get to play one more round of spring matches," said head coach Jim Barnes. "It will be good to be back in Waco playing in front of our family and friends, and our coaches will get one last opportunity to evaluate our players heading into summer workouts." Admission is free to all matches on Saturday.
